Framatome’s PhD candidates presented their latest research results on Battery Boosters for Charging Stations at the “Informatik 2019” conference.

“Having ‘Smart Cities’ as subject of a main keynote proves that our scope matches nowadays important topics,” resumes Josef Schindler after the lecture by Siobhán Clarke. In addition, the framing networking events made it possible to establish interesting contacts, for example with researchers from the fields of ICT and IoT.

Josef Schindler is PhD student at Covalion (powered by Framatome). He received his MSc degree in 2018 in power engineering from the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. His fields of interest are controlling of battery storages and efficient energy management systems in overall. Before joining Covalion in 2018, he has been working at modeling/simulation of hybrid storage and efficient controlling with Matlab.
