Two of our PhD students showed secure communication demonstrators in collaboration with university of Siegen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In their scenario, university of Siegen showed a substation (i.e. any critical infrastructure), which was secured by a generic, attribute-based access control (ABAC) firewall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second demonstrator consisted of one of the DECENT smart-neighborhood assets. The herein used battery-boosted charging station can internally place bids on the DECENT flexibility market and externally be influenced by placing charging reservations.
